Ballarat DVA Workshop

Marelyn Reed – (Director) Omni Healthcare in conjunction with Rob Hogan and Cameron Harrison - The Country Care Group enlightened a number of local and Western Victoria delegates on the major changes that were introduced to DVA from July 2014.  Topics reviewed included ordering product and services on line, high and /low care eligibility and new products.

Delegates were provided with a copy of the new and comprehensive Omni Healthcare A5 product catalogue.

In addition to this comprehensive list, new and exciting products presented were; fluorescent toilet seats, large clocks with day, date and time, directional signs and a new 32mm aluminium tubing range of white goods (bathroom and toilet products - ultra light and extra strong) -  and a bath lifter.

It was also announced that a new phone App will be available late September – similar to the current iPad Application.  This will provide catalogue information, client lists and online RAP requests.  This is a user friendly system compatible with iPhones and Android phones and a welcome application for referrers who do not have iPad access.    Omni Healthcare is able to assist therapists with any queries and set up requirements.

Country Care will also be commencing a National Expo on DVA in Brisbane on 29th September and Melbourne on 30th October.
